I took this photo of Alyssa and Kaitlyn at the Oregon Zoo today. We had a ton of fun looking at all the animals. Mom's favorite is the elephant. I liked the polar bears best, I think.

Mommy and Daddy gave me my bath in the big tub. This is all thanks to Grandpa and Grandma Kurtz, who did a sort of mini-remodel in the bathroom while they were here. They took off the sliding doors on the tub, so we can get in and out better. Mommy says that when they visit, they always help make our house nicer and better.

I really liked my bath - the warm water felt good and when it was all over, I smelled sooooooo yummy. Daddy got me dry and dressed and cuddled me until I was warm and sleepy.

Here's another picture of me and my cousins. They are a great help to me and Mommy - finding my pacifier, my burp cloth, or whatever else I need.

Daddy has been reading up on me, learning about how I am growing and changing every day. I am four weeks old now, and Daddy makes me smile more than anyone else can. He and I have so much fun together when he gets home from work (and we can give Mommy a bit of a break!)

And Kaitlyn likes to hold me too. She is also a great helper. This afternoon we all went to the pool for a swim. I was too tired to get in the pool, so Mommy and I talked with Aunt Julie while the girls splashed and played.

Here I am with my cousin Alyssa. She has been helping keep me happy by holding my hand and assisting with diaper changes.

My Aunt Julie and Alyssa and Katie got here last night and we met them at the airport. It was pretty late by the time we all got home, and I was sleepy.

I'm starting to get interested in my play gym. That elephant's ear makes a curious crinkly sound, and I can reach and kick at all the dangling animals for exercise.

Here we are...a happy family.

You've probably never seen anything like this before...me and Daddy napping! Oh, wait, I've already told you about that. It just keeps getting better.

Mommy can't get enough of me and my hat.

What a busy weekend.
We went to Daddy's company picnic on Saturday in Sellwood Park. Everyone wanted a peek at me, and all I wanted to do was sleep! Then, we got to go to our friends Wilson and Jenny's wedding at Skamania Lodge, and there were even more people who were eager to see me. It was really beautiful there, with great weather, friends, food, and music. So I'm told. Mommy and Daddy took lots of pictures at the wedding too. Then on Sunday, we all went to the First Unitarian Church of Portland for the service and to become members. I think I will like going there and making new friends, I know Mommy and Daddy like it so far.

Aunt Julie and my cousins Alyssa and Katie are arriving tomorrow from Fort Wayne, I can't wait to meet them for the first time! Hopefully I'll put some more pictures up on my blog soon, so stay tuned!
